Sheldon Noble

Sheldon Noble is an award-winning producer, director and editor having started his film career in 2009. His award-winning short film as producer, Phindile’s Heart was nominated for Best Short film by the African Movie Academy Awards, Received a TAVA (The African Audio and Visual) Award for Most Outstanding Short Film. The film received a Best Short Film Award from the Mpumalanga Short Film Festival, which included a Best Producer Award for Sheldon.

Sheldon completed an editing training course through Apple for Final Cut Pro X and has sharpened his skills on various pet projects, including the final cut of Phindile’s Heart 2012, which won a Best Editor Award. Sheldon then went onto editing Victim of Greed and Merry Christmas Jabulani.

Sheldon is a multi-talented artist, skilled in graphic design on adobe photo-shop and fine arts. He was overwhelmed to find himself working as Editor and Assistant Art Director on his first animation project, Mantis and the Moon. Immediately after this project, Sheldon was appointed as Episode Director of 4 Animation Short Films adapted from the book the Nelson Mandela’s Favourite African Folktales. This television mini-series boosts 22 International Best Animation Short Film Awards, which included 4 Best Director and 3 Best Editor Awards for Sheldon.
