Noble Pictures’ very first short film, Phindile's Heart, produced by Sheldon Noble was a multi-award winning film, having received a Best Short Film Award with 5 sub-category Awards at the Mpumalanga Short Film Festival, including Best Director (Claudia Noble), Best Writer and Best Screenplay (Lolo Seakamela), Best Editor (Mathaba Khalanyane) and Best Newcomer Actress (Khenzani Khoza).

The film won a TAVA (The African Audio and Visual) Award for Most Outstanding Short Film and was nominated for an AMAA (African Movie Academy Award) for Best Short Film.

The film’s World Premier was at the Durban International Film Festival. It was officially chosen to screen at SCHNIT in Cape Town and the Kenyan International Film Festival and thereupon was invited to screen at the Zimbabwean Women in Film Festival, the Indie-African Film Festival and the Mzansi Women and Indiafrica Film Festivals. It was even invited to screen at a night of African Films at the Bama Theatre, Tuscaloosa, USA. Phindile’s Heart was broadcast on Mzansi Magic, DSTV and was available for streaming on Showmax.

Noble Pictures second film, Victim of Greed was broadcast on Mzansi Magic, DSTV and was officially selected by Global Cinema Online. The company’s third film, The Greatest Thing, starring Alfred Ntombela “Shorty” with cameo roles by Leon Schuster and Lindani Nkosi was officially selected by Global Cinema Online.

Noble Pictures co-produced a documentary, When I was Water with Shadow Films in 2014. The company was commissioned by the SABC 1 to produce Merry Christmas Jabulani in 2016. Noble Pictures in addition co-produced Made for TV Movies, Obsessed Neighbours in 2015 and Love Beyond Words in 2017.
