A story from Kenya in which a cunning Hyena tries to outwit a Hare, who has developed an unlikely friendship with a Lion, after the Lion was injured by a Porcupine, and we discover how it came to be that the long, coarse hairs of hyenas stands up on the crests of their misshapen bodies.
